About Your Teacher

I am a certified, trained, experienced, and playful Art and Photography teacher of 19 years, and professional photographer of 13 years.

I make technical terms easy to understand in our fun, mindful learning environment. Learn the basics in addition to several artistic and creative techniques.

Lessons are provided in my office or outside at an appropriate location. I am based in Rochester, New York and can easily travel to any location to teach a group workshop.


English (native), German (C1) , American Sign Language (basic communication, ASL interpretation available upon request)

Additional Fine Art Workshops

I hold a Permanent New York State Art certification.

  • Drawing & Painting – basic drawing class covering techniques, hand-eye coordination, figure drawing, portrait drawing, landscape, painting techniques, abstract
  • Ceramics & Sculpture – sculpture, various firing techniques, glazing, clay, recycling
  • Advertising / Graphic Design – fashion design, product design, graphic design, computer software, Adobe Photoshop, etc., QuarkXPress, digital photography, post processing, production industry experience
  • Fibers – batik, paper sculpture, paper bookmaking, tapestry and other weaving


  • Computer / Informatics – keyboarding class, All MS office, Resume/CV writing and submission, presentation creation, interview techniques, Google, email techniques
